Installing the Operating System
Ready to bring your new build to life? Here's how to Install Windows, Linux, or any OS of your choice from a bootable USB. I can guide you step-by-step to avoid mistakes and get things running smoothly.
📌 What You’ll Need:
- ✅ A working PC to create the bootable USB
- ✅ USB drive (at least 8GB)
- ✅ OS installer file (Windows ISO, Linux ISO, etc.)
- ✅ Free tool: Rufus (for creating bootable USBs)
⚙️ Steps to Install:
- Download the OS ISO – Get the official ISO file from the OS provider. For Windows, visit Microsoft's site.
- Create the bootable USB – Use Rufus to flash the ISO onto your USB. Choose
GPT + UEFI
for modern systems. - Insert USB & boot from it – Plug the USB into your new PC and turn it on. Enter BIOS (usually DEL or F2) and select the USB as the boot device.
- Partition the drive – During installation, format your drive properly. You can delete old partitions if needed, but be careful!
- Follow the setup wizard – Choose your language, version, and create a user account.
- Wait for first boot – Once installed, your PC will restart and boot into your new OS!
🔧 After Installation:
- 📦 Install drivers (chipset, graphics, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- 🛡️ Run updates
- ⚙️ Optimize startup apps
